As president of the science club I was in charge of planning the overnight Chicago Trip. It was my job to figure out the itinerary (which is shown above), book the museums we would be visiting, find a hotel, book the transportation, and deal with the money. This was the first large trip that I had ever planned, so all of these items that I was in charge of were new to me. I ran into problems along the way, such as when the museum said that they had not received our payment or when I had to make schedule changes. I tackled these problems the best that I could and through my efforts and problem solving the Chicago Trip went smoothly and was a lot of fun.

In the Introduction to Calculus class, one of the projects that we had to do was design a mouse trap car and then time its speed and distance. This project dealt with many of the requirements of this outcome because my group had to build a mouse trap car from scratch, design it so that it would go at least 6 meters and stay in a straight line, and tackle any problems that arose with the car. The first document is the instruction sheet given to each group at the beginning of the project and the second document is a letter written by my teacher stating what my group accomplished with our car.
